SOLSC 3/20/16 Spring

There is not a worse feeling when your trapped inside your house with a fever on the first day of spring. When you feel like dying, it’s hard to remember that we are in the season of birthings. When your throat doesn’t let you speak louder than a whisper, you get annoyed at the sound of loud bird chirps.

SOLSC 3/19/16 Pringles

Today I slept in and my mom was grocery shopping for four hours and she got me Pringles, which I feel like I haven’t had for years. It was glorious. And I realized that tomorrow is spring! Yay!

SOLSC 3/18/16 Sickly

As I tried to take deep breaths, I couldn’t help but to think about the aching pain in my stomach. It was warm with all the people around in the gym for the assembly. I started to feel light-headed and queasy, so I told my friend to get the nearest teachers attention, and they brought me to the office where I texted my mom to come get me. I remember the people looking at me as I left the gym, but most of was just a blur…

SOLSC 3/17/16 St. Patrick’s Day!

St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays because I’m Irish and my mom went to Ireland when I was younger and brought some of their culture back home. Every year my mom gets me and my brother a shamrock shake from McDonald’s. But this year she didn’t because she “forgot”. I’ve probably asked about a thousand times already and she forgot. Anyway I wore green today so I wouldn’t get pinched, but I never do anyway and we weren’t allowed to either.

SOLSC 3/16/16 …

There are no words for me. I’m angry at my phone because it won’t download anything. I’m confused at my math. And I’m worried about the mental health of Trump supporters. No one wants to hear me complain about Donald Trump, but seriously? C’mon America.

SOLSC 3/15/16 Spring Is Coming

I had a very nice day today, and I even tweeted about it. Even though there have been warmer days, I could really feel the warmth of the sun on my back, hear the birds chirping. I also saw some worm trails in mud puddles. Today is the day that I knew spring was coming. Spring is my favorite season because its not too warm and its not too cold, and it rains a lot, and I love the rain. I have memories from when I was younger of going outside with my mom and saying “It smells like spring!” My favorite saying is “April Showers Bring May Flowers” because rain and flowers, but flowers mean bees and insects and that is basically the only thing keeping me from liking summer better. Spring also means that winter is over and I don’t have to wear a coat, or be cold (I really hate being cold), and I get woken up by birds.  The only thing I like about time change is that the sun goes down later, but that means that it doesn’t come up until after 8:00 A.M. Spring is the season of life and it brings more life into mine.

I can also see all the pretty flowers that my neighbors grow, because they’re gardeners.

SOLSC 3/14/16 I Hate Time Zones

Today I woke up really tired, but I can wake up really quickly. After I got on the bus I pulled out my phone and I was going to read on it but then I was on Twitter and Instagram until we picked up kids on a different stop for another bus driver, and my friend was on that stop, so we talked a lot. I got tired after that and I read until we got to school. I was tired in all my classes and a YouTuber was doing her monthly livestream until she had to go on  plane to Mumbai, and it started at 3:00 PM but I don’t get home until three thirty, but I watched it on my phone until I got home.

Time change is outdated, stupid, and needs to make like a banana and split.

SOLSC 3/13/16 Places

Today I spent time thinking about places I want to visit.

•Dublin, Ireland

•London, England

•Japan

•Somewhere, Alaska 😉

•Los Angles

•Hawaii

•Every State in America

SOLSC 3/12/16 Dowling Dance

Last night was the Dowling Dance, an annual formal middle school night dance.

My mom took some really awesome photos before and the lighting was everything (from a photographers point of view). When we got there my brother opened the car door for me, but made me walk in alone. My friends awaited me at the entrance, and I was super exited to see drawings of jukeboxes and records on the wall and it made me feel like I was in the dance scene from Grease, or the prom scene from Back to The Future 1. I danced to a lot of songs, which include: Watch Me, Uptown Funk, Shake It Off, and a lot more. One friend of mine wouldn’t dance, despite all of our efforts, and even though it was after 9:00  P.M. I had managed to leave early. Then we went to McDonald’s and I slept in even though I don’t like to. It was all worth it. I had a very good night and dances are my favorite because I get to listen to awesome songs at school and be loud and annoying without anyone caring.
